An intimate sunset concert where the meditative resonance of handpan meets the cinematic warmth of cello, surrounded by rice fields, village atmosphere and the landscape of rural Central Java.
Danuwuh Ricefield Concert is designed as a destination experience—not merely a performance. Guests arrive before sunset, walk through the village landscape, taste local food, and gather around an intimate stage as handpan and cello create a slow, immersive musical journey.
Gendhing brings contemporary world music into a living Javanese rural environment. The concept keeps the production elegant and low-impact: warm lighting, natural materials, controlled audience capacity, curated village food, and a stage designed to preserve the character of the rice fields.
The event is suitable for local audiences, visitors from Solo and Yogyakarta, international travellers, cultural communities, photographers, wellness audiences and music lovers looking for an experience outside the conventional concert venue.
